Many premedical students have put in the effort over several years to get their GPA, MCAT, and extracurriculars in order. But oftentimes, the most important part of their application is overlooked: the personal statement. The personal statement is a 5000-character work that should connect the reader into why you are choosing to go into medicine, and should explain why you seek to become a physician.
I’ve reviewed dozens of applications for premeds. I was on the admissions committee in medical school. I interviewed applicants every week, and have read dozens of personal statements. I’ve worked one-on-one with applicants to help optimize not only their personal statement, but their primary/secondary applications, CVs, and interview skills in order to succeed.
Work with me, and I guarantee you will not regret it.
