I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Houston Honors College, with a minor in Chemistry and a second minor in Medicine & Society. After completing my studies, I devoted two years to research, working at the National Institutes of Health before embarking on my medical education at the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSA). During my time at UTHSA, I served on the medical school admissions committee, conducting interviews and meticulously evaluating applications from prospective medical students. My experience includes assessing numerous applications and personal statements, as well as guiding multiple candidates independently in presenting themselves in the best possible light to pursue a career in medicine.

These days, I am about to finish residency in Emergency Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine and will be an attending. Working with applicants is something I have always wanted to do.
